My early days as a Higher Education Director and working in Tribal Government gave me the skills to meet each person where they are while providing support and guidance to get them to where they wanted to be. I took those sharpened interpersonal tools and applied them in the field of corrections as a Correctional Officer and Prison Counselor. I finally, made the leap and earned the Mastery Level of Strategic Intervention -RMT Certification. I have BS in Sociology and MS in Sociology and Ethnic Studies as well. I have worked in numerous careers and have many years of experience working with all types of people and personalities and situations. I have a passion for assisting others to be the best version of themselves and to “stop surviving and start living.”
